Mixed Materials Workshop Sessions

We were taught to use first clay then a variety of materials like Worbla, Fosshape and Plastazote to sculpt and make a wearable mask. First we blocked out the desired mask shape on a mannequin head with clay, then made a template out of cling wrap and masking tape, which we cut into sections and unrolled into flat shapes to be cut out of Plastazote. Details were made from the Worbla and Fosshape thermoplastics and added after the main mask shape was completed.
